Stay tuned to our channels for the latest program updates. - Fast lunsj drop-in: From Thursday to Sunday, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, we offer lunch service without table reservations. Perfect for those on the go. This offer is valid from Thursday, July 3rd, until mid-August.
- Fast middag: On the same days, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, we invite you to enjoy dinner with a changing menu based on the season’s best ingredients and the chef’s inspiration.
- Outside opening hours? No problem, you are always welcome to contact us for questions, reservations, or dining options outside of opening hours.

Mountain Hotel in Boutique Style
High in the mountains at Myking, above Nesbyen and Nesfjellet, you’ll find Ranten Hotel. A unique and charming hotel that offers the ultimate mountain getaway experience. Clean Scandinavian design and vintage furniture create a warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere.
The hotel’s concept is based on creating a peaceful and balanced experience, with beautiful nature and excellent food at its core. It is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions, enjoy a romantic getaway, or host team-building events with colleagues.
Our Facilities
The hotel features inviting common areas with a fireplace, a bar in the loft, and 34 comfortable rooms with stunning views of the mountains. In the restaurant and Storstua, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch, or a tasty three-course dinner.
Ranten also offers a newly renovated meeting room with space for up to 35 people.

Waffle Saturday, every Saturday
Ranten’s homemade waffles and hot and cold refreshments in cups and glasses. From 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.

Ranten is more than happy to host life’s special moments. Perfect for groups from 10 to 70 people.
