Breakfast is served every day from 8:00 AM–10:00 AM.

Lunch is served every day from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM.

When is dinner served?
Dinner is served from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM and must be booked in advance.

Do I have to stay at the hotel to eat at the restaurant?
No, the restaurant is open to both hotel guests and visitors.

Can I bring a pet?
Yes, pets are welcome in selected rooms for an additional fee of NOK 200. Please contact us before arrival to reserve a pet-friendly room.

Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes, we have free parking right outside the hotel.

Do I have to pay tolls?
Yes, the road to Ranten Hotel is a toll road. Payment is easily made at  norgesbom.no.

There is a fee of NOK 50 if payment is completed within 48 hours. After this, an invoice will be sent to the registered address.

Do you have an EV charger?
Yes, we have an EV charger available at the hotel. The charger has a connector that fits a Type 2 charging socket.

The price for charging is NOK 200 per charge.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like to use the EV charger, and we will be happy to assist you.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is included for all hotel guests from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM in Storstua.

Does the hotel have WiFi?
Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the hotel.

Are there hiking and cycling opportunities nearby?
Yes, Ranten Hotel is surrounded by beautiful hiking and cycling trails in stunning mountain scenery.

Are there fishing opportunities?
Yes, Mykingsjøen offers good fishing opportunities. Fishing permits can be purchased at Myking Kolonial.

How far is it to Nesfjellet Ski Centre and Bike Park?
It is approximately a 20-minute drive to Nesfjellet Ski Centre and Bike Park.

Are there other activities nearby?
Yes. Langedrag Nature Park is approximately a 35-minute drive from Ranten Hotel and is a popular excursion destination for both children and adults.

Langedrag is a nature reserve where you can get close to Norwegian animals such as wolves, lynx, Arctic foxes, reindeer, moose, and many more. The park offers experiences all year round, and in winter you can, among other things, join dog sledding trips, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and horseback riding, as well as enjoy several activities for the whole family.

Can we arrange a wedding or event with you?
Yes, we arrange weddings, anniversaries and events for groups of up to 70 people.

Do you offer meeting rooms?
Yes, we have a newly renovated meeting room with space for up to 35 people, and we offer meeting packages with catering.
